Chef’s Best
La Grande Table offers delicious frozen meals at a reasonable price to families living in poverty. To benefit from our preferential prices between $1 to $2.75, users must sign up at La Grande Table’s office showing their ID and income proof Monday through Friday between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. to register.
Anybody can also buy meals at regular price. Every week, members are allowed 7 meals per family member. To make sure we have enough for everybody, families are allowed twice the same meal per family member. For instance, a single person can buy 7 meals, and a family of 4 can buy 28 meals.

Meals in schools
La Grande Table supports Sherbrooke schoolchildren by offering Lil Lunch Boxes and Value Lunches every day of the school year.
Little Lunch Boxes
With the Rock-Guertin Foundation and the Christian Vachon Foundation, the Lil Lunch Boxes program is available for free in 11 Sherbrooke schools. The program provides warm meals every day to children targeted by school teams, who noticed children without lunches, insufficient lunches or lunches with no food variety. Meals are then offered to these kids throughout the school year. Parents who want their child to benefit from this program can request it at the school secretary’s office or at the Christian Vachon Foundation. The schools approve and proceed to the child’s registration.
Value Lunches
With La Cantine pour tous, Value Lunches provide warm meals to schoolchildren whose parents pay in the form of voluntary contribution. Financed partly by the Government of Quebec, this program asks parents a voluntary contribution of at least $1. La Grande Table offers 3 different options per day, one is vegetarian.
